About the Teacher:
Shen Shi’an 沈时安 is an independent Buddhist teacher and writer, who was one of the founding members of the Dharma Propagation Division of Kong Meng San Phor Kark See Monastery in 1997. Holding an MA in Buddhist Studies, he recently served as a Dharma Trainer and Project Coordinator in its Community Development & Training Department, focusing on research, writing, teaching and answering of media queries. He was the founder of the temple’s youth group, a book purchaser for Awareness Place, and the Chief Editor of the Web and Library Department. He is the founder of TheDailyEnlightenment.com, an inspirational e-newsletter with 33,500 readers, the editor of ‘Be a Lamp Upon Yourself’, the author of ‘The Daily Enlightenment’ (Book 1-7) and ‘The Amazing & Amusing Adventures of Sam & Sara: The Zen of All Kinds of Stuff’ (a #1 local Buddhist bestseller).
